Officers of the Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA) paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Pamela Baricuatro on Friday, Sept. 26, to express their commitment to strengthening Cebu’s tourism sector.
Led by PHOA President Arthur Lopez, the delegation pledged support in promoting the province by ensuring world-class accommodations for visitors.
Founded in 1977, PHOA is the country’s foremost organization of hotel owners.L, playing a key role in advancing the hospitality industry through advocacy, industry leadership, community engagement, and professional development.
Joining Lopez were Alfred Reyes of Bai Hotel, Kenneth Gatchalian of Waterfront Hotels and Casinos, PHOA executive director Benito Bengzon Jr., and operations manager Minoll Alano.
Gov. Baricuatro welcomed the group’s commitment and invited them to actively participate in the Cebu Provincial Tourism Council, which works hand in hand with stakeholders in advancing the province’s tourism programs and initiatives. | CAPITOL PIO
