Governor Pamela Baricuatro, assisted by Capitol Piso Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan, welcomed officials of Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) led by their President and CEO Paolo Borromeo at the Capitol on September 19.
During the meeting, AC Health expressed its interest in supporting the Province’s efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery—a top priority of Gov. Baricuatro’s administration.
“Cebu Province is grateful for their courtesy visit and for their eagerness to collaborate and explore synergies,” Dr. Catalan said. “We are especially thankful to find linkages with private companies like Ayala, more so when it involves healthcare.”
The visit came shortly before AC Health announced its acquisition of a majority stake in the 200-bed Cebu Velez General Hospital (CVGH), underscoring its growing commitment to Cebu’s healthcare sector.
