The ECCP, a multilateral chamber with over 900 members, serves as a bridge between European and Philippine markets. The delegation was led by Consul Jochen Bitzer of the Federal Republic of Germany, joined by ECCP Executive Director Florian Gottein and Cebu Council leaders representing women in business, education, ICT, and foreign investments.

A key highlight of the meeting was the strong interest of European businesses in establishing pharmaceutical manufacturing in Cebu. Governor Baricuatro welcomed the proposal, noting that it supports her healthcare agenda, and assured investors of Capitol’s full assistance.

She also encouraged cooperation through public-private partnerships, emphasizing Cebu’s wealth of young, creative talents who can help businesses thrive. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
