Gov. Pamela Baricuatro administered the oath of office of the newly elected officers of the League of Public Employment Service Office (PESO) managers in Cebu Province.
The officers, led by its president Kim Francisco, PESO Manager of Lapu-Lapu City, will serve from 2025 to 2028.
Jessica Uy, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer of DOLE-7, emphasized that the League strengthens coordination among PESO managers, promotes the sharing of best practices, and enhances the delivery of employment services across local governments.
As a non-fee charging facility under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), PESO League Cebu serves as a vital link in implementing employment facilitation programs, helping provide greater access to job opportunities for Cebuanos. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
