As part of the new administrations housekeeping efforts, People’s Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro establishes the Capitol’s Special Review Committee through Executive Order No. 8.
The committee shall evaluate and review transactions, obligations, contracts and procurement activities incurred during previous administrations to promote good governance, transparency, and public accountability.
“It is necessary to conduct a thorough and impartial review of all procurement transactions, obligations and contracts entered into or incurred during previous administrations to ensure compliance with existing laws, rules, and regulations,” the EO reads.
