Fulfilling her campaign promise to prioritize improved healthcare services, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro signed Executive Order No. 1, mandating the urgent release of funds for medical purposes to enhance the response capacity of Capitol-run hospitals.
“An amount of Five Million Pesos shall be released to each provincial and district hospitals within the Province of Cebu for the immediate and emergency purchase of medicines, medical supplies, and other related necessities, as they deem appropriate, to enhance their immediate response capacity,” EO No. 1 reads.
