Cebu Gov. Baricuatro Supports DOST Programs to Expand Scholarships and Innovation

Cebu, August 20, 2025Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro is taking significant steps to enhance opportunities in science and technology for Cebuanos by strengthening collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). On August 20, Governor Baricuatro met with DOST Provincial Director Bryan Ybañez at the Capitol, joined by Rino Dominic Cabungcal, Science Research Specialist and Innovation Hub Manager. The discussions centered on strategies to ensure DOST programs reach more Cebuanos effectively.

Boosting Scholarship Opportunities in Science and Technology
