𝐏𝐁 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋, 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘
The Cebu Provincial Board (PB) has commended the Cebu Provincial Government, led by Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro, for the successful conduct of the surgical and medical mission at the Cebu Provincial Hospital–Danao City, in celebration of the province’s 457th Founding Anniversary.
Through Resolution No. 67 authored by PB Member Michael Joseph T. Villamor, the PB recognized the Provincial Government’s efforts in bringing free medical and surgical services closer to Cebuanos, particularly those who may not otherwise afford such procedures and consultations.
The two-day medical mission provided an estimated P9.5 million worth of free medical services, including 23 major surgeries, 52 minor surgeries, 63 dental services, 225 medical consultations, 10 arteriovenous (AV) fistula procedures, 85 diagnostic services, and 93 HIV screenings.
The mission also brought together more than 260 volunteer doctors, medical professionals, and support personnel from various partner institutions, including Chong Hua Medical Center, Cebu Provincial Hospital–Danao City, Cebu Medical Society, Kaambag Clinic, the Cebu Provincial Health Office, and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines–Cebu Province Chapter.
The PB expressed its appreciation to all partner institutions, medical professionals, volunteers, and support personnel whose collective efforts contributed to the successful implementation of the medical mission. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶, 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔
