𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Gov. Pamela Baricuatro graced the Dinagat Festival 2026 in the town of Cordova, Cebu, on Sunday, August 9, in honor of its patron saint, Señor San Roque.
The governor also turned over a total of ₱68 million in financial assistance, including the P2 million from the Office of Provincial Board Member Alfie Ouano, for the town’s various projects and initiatives. The assistance was received by Mayor Cesar Suan, who thanked Gov. Baricuatro for the support extended to the municipality.
The term “Dinagat” comes from the Visayan word dagat (sea), a tribute to Cordova’s rich fishing heritage and the way of life of its people. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶, 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝑭𝑬
