𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝
In line with Gov. Pamela Baricuatro’s commitment to make government services more accessible to every Cebuano, the Provincial Legal Office (PLO) conducted a two-day Legal Aid Outreach in the Camotes Group of Islands, bringing free legal assistance directly to residents on July 30 and 31, 2026.
On Day 1, the outreach was held in Barangay Kawit, Municipality of Pilar, where residents availed themselves of free legal consultations, notarization of documents, and the preparation of affidavits.
Lawyers and personnel from the Provincial Legal Office, together with Doctor and Lawyer Lou Llanes, provided immediate legal guidance and assistance to ensure that essential legal services reached those who often face difficulties accessing them.
One of the beneficiaries thanked the team for bringing the legal services to the island town, as they would no longer have to go to the mainland or travel to the neighboring Ormoc City.
On Day 2, the outreach continued at the Tudela Social Hall in the island town of Tudela, where more residents received the same free legal services.
