𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐏𝐇-𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘
Gov. Pamela Baricuatro led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly installed state-of-the-art mammogram machine at the Cebu Provincial Hospital (CPH)-Danao City on Saturday, August 8.
Provided by the Cebu Provincial Government, the mammogram machine is the first of its kind in CPH-Danao City, strengthening the hospital’s Radiology Department and expanding access to breast health services.
The specialized X-ray equipment is designed to examine breast tissue and aid in the early detection of breast cancer, making screening more accessible and convenient for residents, particularly those from Northern Cebu.
The addition of the machine is part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to bring essential healthcare services closer to every Cebuano.
Also present during the ceremony were Provincial Health Office Head Dr. Sheila Faciol, PISO Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan, Danao City Mayor Nito Durano and Vice Mayor Ivy Durano, CPH-Danao City Chief of Hospital Dr. Jenna Canoy, and Borbon Mayor Nico Dotillos.
