𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Cebu Gov. Pamela S. Baricuatro administered the oath of office to former Barangay Uling Punong Barangay Carmelita B. Dakay on Tuesday, Aug. 4, formally installing her as a member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga during a ceremony held at the Office of the Governor.
Dakay was appointed to fill the vacant council seat left by her late husband, Councilor Justino Dakay, who passed away in May.

The oath-taking ceremony was witnessed by Naga City Vice Mayor Virgilio Chiong, Dakay’s immediate family, supporters, and other guests. By taking her oath before Governor Baricuatro, Dakay formally assumed office and pledged to faithfully uphold the Constitution and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a city councilor.
