The First Governor’s Zero Hunger Run was not only about crossing the finish line—it was a celebration where Cebu’s flavors, communities, and advocacy came together.

True to its Zero Hunger purpose, thousands of runners were treated to a festive feast of local delicacies from 12 participating LGUs, each proudly showcasing their culinary treasures through vibrant and beautifully designed booths.

From Samboan, Santander , Alcantara , Alegria, Tuburan, Carmen, Carcar City, Balamban, Borbon, Dalaguete, Argao and Toledo City

From one booth to another, runners got to taste the stories of Cebu’s communities—from beloved local treats to homegrown products, all presented with creativity and Cebuano pride.

The colorful displays and generous spread transformed the event grounds into a lively showcase of Sugbo’s food, culture, and hospitality, making the run feel more like a province-wide fiesta!

And behind the celebration was a meaningful vision championed by The People’s Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro: a Cebu where no one goes hungry and no one is left behind. SE!
