𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐄𝐄𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐓 𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
Cebu Provincial Government employees and representatives of Provincial Development Council sectoral committees underwent starting Thursday, July 22, 2026, a two-day “Capacity Building Development Training on Secretariat Functions”.
The activity is meant to better equip employees who serve as members of the respective secretariat of different Capitol committees, councils, governing boards, and other bodies.
The first day started with a discussion on the functions and responsibilities of the secretariat as well as secretariat etiquette by Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DepDev)-7 Assistant Regional Director Evelyn Nacario-Castro.
It was followed by a talk on preparations before meetings by DepDev 7’s Karen Lajot, and use of standard rules of order during meetings by DepDev 7’s Cornelio Guantero.
The activity is part of the thrust of Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro’s administration to improve the delivery of services at the Cebu Provincial Government.
