LOOK: The Cebu Provincial Government has taken another step toward addressing road access and flooding concerns in Barangay Linao, Minglanilla, with the groundbreaking of a P9.9 million road improvement and drainage project on Wednesday.
Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, together with Acting Mayor Lheslen Enad and Acting Vice Mayor Joe Romulus Laput, led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project in Purok Nangka.
The project includes a 40-meter concrete road measuring 6.2 meters wide with a thickness of 0.20 meters.
It also covers the construction of a 340-meter drainage system designed to improve the flow of stormwater to the sea and help prevent flooding in nearby communities.
“I just want to assure you nga naa rag yod ang inyong provincial government. Di gyod mo namo pasagdan sa probinsya,” the governor told the officials present.
