The Cebu Provincial Hospital (CPH)-Danao City is conducting today, July 22, the final pre-screening of patients for its free surgical mission set on Aug. 8 and 9.
The screening, which began at 8 a.m., will run until 5 p.m. Patients are advised to bring available medical records, laboratory results, prescriptions and a valid identification card.

Doctors from Chong Hua Hospital joined the CPH-Danao medical team in evaluating prospective patients to determine their fitness for surgery and identify the laboratory and diagnostic tests required before the procedures.
The surgical mission will offer selected major and minor operations for patients with breast masses, hemorrhoids, gallbladder and thyroid conditions, hernias, lipomas, cysts and other benign growths.

Patients are undergoing medical evaluation to assess surgical risks and determine who qualify for the free operations.
The mission is a joint initiative of the Cebu Provincial Government, Chong Hua Hospital and the Danao City Government.
It is the first in a series of free surgical missions lined up for Cebu Province’s founding anniversary, with organizers emphasizing that thorough pre-operative assessment is essential to ensure safe and successful procedures.
