𝐀𝐓𝐌: A total of 391 residents of the Municipality of Compostela in northern Cebu are set to receive P10,000 each in calamity financial assistance on Monday, July 13, 2026, during the payout at the Compostela Municipal Gymnasium.
Governor Pamela Baricuatro led the distribution together with Compostela Mayor Felijur “Jury” Quiño, Vice Mayor Froilan Quiño, 5th District Provincial Board Member Mike Villamor, Provincial Administrator Ace Durano, and other town officials.
The financial assistance is part of the Cebu Provincial Government’s continuing relief and recovery efforts for residents severely affected by Typhoon Tino, which struck the province in November 2025.
In addition to the cash assistance, each beneficiary will receive 10 kilograms of rice.
To ensure the comfort of beneficiaries while awaiting the distribution, the Cebu Provincial Government is also providing hot meals at the venue. /CAPITOL PIO, Photos by JLP
