The Cebu Provincial Government has achieved a 100% YAKAP facility readiness rate after all 65 primary care facilities and all Capitol-run provincial hospitals secured YAKAP accreditation.
Governor Pamela Baricuatro delivered this report during the 2026 Provincial Health Leadership Development Program Training Module 1, held Friday, July 10, at Bai Hotel in Mandaue City.
The province has also established 42 GAMOT Pharmacies across 16 provincial hospitals and selected municipal centers to support the delivery of maintenance medicines and outpatient services.
Since 2025, the Cebu Provincial Government has hired 148 physicians, 323 nurses, 74 medical technologists and 26 pharmacists to strengthen healthcare services in district-level facilities.
