As part of the Cebu Provincial Government’s proactive disaster preparedness efforts, employees and department heads participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, 2026.
Upon hearing the alarm siren, employees promptly evacuated their respective offices and proceeded to the designated evacuation area.
Disaster response officers and personnel supervised the drill and ensured that all participants adhered to standard earthquake safety procedures.
The quarterly activity aims to assess the effectiveness of earthquake response plans and enhance employees’ preparedness, helping minimize injuries and prevent casualties in the event of an actual earthquake. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶, 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝑱𝑳𝑷
