𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐒: After a full day of work at the Capitol, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro headed to Tabuelan, but not without stopping in Guinabasan, Asturias, to enjoy some of her favorite roadside snacks.

The brief pause drew attention to a thriving roadside trade that has long served both travelers and locals. From kwek-kwek and balut to other freshly prepared snacks, the stalls offer the kind of food best enjoyed standing by the road, with traffic rolling past and conversations flowing as freely as the day.
The governor also wandered through makeshift fish and vegetable stalls, chatting with residents and vendors whose livelihoods depend on the steady stream of passersby.
