𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍: The Cebu Provincial Board (PB) has unanimously approved four resolutions authorizing Governor Pam Baricuatro to extend a total of P25 million in financial assistance to four Mindanao provinces affected by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck on June 8, 2026.
The resolutions, authored by PB Member Red Duterte and approved en masse during today’s session presided over by PB Member Stanley Caminero, authorize the governor, on behalf of the Cebu Provincial Government, to provide financial assistance amounting to P10 million for Sarangani Province and P5 million each for Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, and South Cotabato.
Last week, the legislative body, upon the request of Gov. Baricuatro, also approved a resolution authorizing the release of P10 million in financial assistance to General Santos City. More details to follow. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
