𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝟭𝟬.𝟲𝟭𝟲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀
The Cebu Provincial Government allotted more than P10.616 million for the ongoing improvement of the Isidro C. Kintanar Memorial Hospital in Argao town, as part of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro’s efforts to upgrade healthcare services across the province.
The project covers the repainting of the hospital building and the construction of slope protection and a perimeter fence aimed at improving the facility’s safety and upkeep.
Aside from improving the district hospital’s facilities and infrastructure, a sewage treatment facility is also in the pipeline to ensure the proper treatment of wastewater and prevent contamination that could threaten public health and the environment.
The hospital upgrade comes as the provincial government continues to implement Gov. Baricuatro’s reforms in public healthcare, including infrastructure repairs, service enhancements, the modernization of medical equipment, and the hiring of additional medical personnel.
These programs and projects are meant to fulfill her promise of making quality healthcare more accessible to Cebuanos in Capitol-run hospitals.
