The Emergency Room (ER) and Outpatient Department (OPD) of Tuburan District Hospital are now fully air-conditioned following recent facility upgrades undertaken by the Cebu Provincial Government.

The improvement is part of ongoing efforts under the administration of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro to enhance healthcare services and provide a more comfortable environment for patients and their companions while waiting for and receiving medical care.
Provincial health officials said the hospital has also benefited from continued support for manpower, maintenance, medical equipment, and infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening its capacity to serve residents of Tuburan and neighboring towns.

Facility upgrades and equipment modernization were also carried out in the other 15 Capitol-run hospitals.
Hospital officials said the improvements have contributed to better service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall facility maintenance.
Residents have welcomed the developments, saying that the hospital is now better equipped to handle emergency cases and provide expanded medical services.

Alger Vender said he observed that the services and facilities are nearly comparable to those of private hospitals of the same level as Tuburan District Hospital.
Michelle Paguiwanan shared the same sentiments and added that more medical personnel are now available to attend to patients’ needs.
The provincial government said it will continue implementing programs and facility enhancements aimed at improving access to quality healthcare across Cebu.
