𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝟐.𝟔𝐌 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝟏𝟑 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐒
The Cebu Provincial Government has released at least P2.6 million in financial assistance to 13 barangays across five districts to support infrastructure projects and socio-cultural programs aimed at improving community services and local development.
The assistance is part of the Capitol’s continuing efforts to strengthen grassroots development by providing direct support for priority projects and community-based initiatives in the barangays.
Gov. Pamela Baricuatro personally handed over the checks to barangay captains who visited the Capitol to receive the assistance.
The funds will be used for various infrastructure projects and socio-cultural programs identified by the recipient barangays in the City of Naga (First District); Argao (Second District); Asturias (Third District); Daanbantayan, Medellin, and Tabogon (Fourth District); and Poro and San Francisco (Fifth District).
Joining the governor during the turnover ceremony at the Capitol were Fifth District Board Member Mike Villamor and Provincial Administrator Atty. Ace Durano, who welcomed the barangay officials.
