𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖: Cebu Gov. Pam Baricuatro, together with Provincial Board Members Neneth Reluya, Nelson Mondigo, and Kerrie Keanne Shimura, arrived at the Bantayan Town Hall to turn over a check worth ₱8 million as financial assistance to the municipality under Mayor Orlando “Alex” F. Layese.
The ₱8 million assistance from the provincial government will be used for the construction of a new multi-purpose building in Barangay Binaobao.
Mayor Layese thanked Gov. Baricuatro and Capitol officials for the assistance, saying that Binaobao is the only barangay in the municipality that does not have its own multi-purpose facility.
Immediately after the turnover of the check, Mayor Layese accompanied Gov. Baricuatro and her team as well as 4th District Rep. Sun Shimura to the proposed project site. 𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶, 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝒀𝑱𝑩
