The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated critical medical equipment to Cebu Provincial Hospital–Danao City to help strengthen healthcare services following the impact of Typhoon Tino.
The donated equipment includes an autoclave machine, electrocautery machine, suction machine, and patient monitor, essential tools that support healthcare workers in providing timely and life-saving medical care, especially amid ongoing recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
Provincial PISO Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing that the support goes beyond the equipment itself.
“The donation reflects trust, solidarity, and a shared commitment. A reminder that even after disasters, communities can come together to ensure that no Cebuano is left behind,” Dr. Catalan said in a Facebook post.
As Cebu continues its recovery and rehabilitation efforts, the Provincial Government remains committed to building resilient communities and improving access to quality healthcare services for all Cebuanos.
