After years without air conditioning, the pharmacy of the Barili District Hospital is now more comfortable and better equipped for the proper storage of medicines.
Less than a year after Gov. Pamela Baricuatro assumed office, and 10 months since the first visit of Capitol Piso Public Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan to the hospital, major improvements have been implemented, including the provision of medicine supplies and the renovation of facilities.
The ongoing upgrades in the province’s 16 Capitol-run hospitals are part of the reforms being implemented by Gov. Baricuatro’s administration in fulfillment of her promise to strengthen Cebu’s healthcare system.
