𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 ₱𝟏.𝟓𝟐-𝐌 𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝟏𝟒 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐔𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐍
Gov. Pamela Baricuatro turned over ₱1.52 million in financial assistance to barangay officials from the Municipality of Tuburan during a courtesy visit at the Capitol on Monday.
The funds will bankroll infrastructure projects in 14 barangays and support socio-cultural programs.
A total of ₱1.2 million was distributed to six barangays, with each receiving ₱200,000 for infrastructure projects such as road concreting and the construction of bleachers and comfort rooms. The recipient barangays were Kaorasan, Kansi, Poblacion 1, Molobolo, Ga-ang and Apalan.
The governor also released checks ranging from ₱30,000 to ₱50,000 to eight barangays to support their socio-cultural activities.
Barangay officials thanked the governor and the Cebu Provincial Government for the swift release of funds for their priority projects.
