Local entrepreneurs in Cebu are gaining international exposure as they showcase their products to delegates and guests of the 48th ASEAN Summit.
A curated selection of locally made delicacies, fresh produce, and handcrafted goods by Cebuano artisans and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is on display at the Mactan Expo Center, highlighting the province’s rich culture, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
Among the featured products are handwoven hinablon textiles from Argao, locally sourced coffee from Tuburan, handcrafted jewelry and home décor, locally produced tablea and chocolate, as well as artworks and paintings by Cebuano artists. These showcase the diversity, creativity and quality of the province’s homegrown industries.
The initiative aims to provide MSMEs with greater market access, promote Cebu’s unique products on a global stage, and strengthen opportunities for trade and investment as regional leaders convene for the summit.
