𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: On behalf of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, Capitol Health Consultant Dr. Elisse Nicole Catalan delivered the governor’s message during the oath-taking ceremony for more than 800 new medical technologists and medical laboratory technicians from the Visayas region on May 5, 2026, at Nustar Cebu Grand Ballroom.
Organized by the PAMET Cebu Chapter, the ceremony formally welcomed the newly registered professionals as members of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists.
Dr. Catalan conveyed the governor’s congratulations and recognized the vital role of medical technologists in strengthening health care systems and ensuring accurate, life-saving diagnoses.
She said that while their work is often behind the scenes, it remains the foundation of quality patient care, anchored in precision, integrity and commitment to service.
