The Cebu Provincial Hospital (CPH) in Bogo City has successfully completed the assembly and setup of a new General Electric anesthesia machine, a development that hospital officials say will significantly enhance the precision and safety of surgical procedures at the northern facility.
Hospital management confirmed the installation this week, describing the equipment upgrade as a critical component in the ongoing effort to modernize the facility’s operating room and critical care services.
“Through continuous upgrades and investment in modern medical technology, we remain committed to providing reliable, efficient, and high-standard healthcare services to our community,” CPH-Bogo City said in a Facebook post.
The ongoing upgrades of the 16 Capitol-run hospitals in the province are part of the reforms of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro to provide quality services to Cebuanos.
According to the hospital management, the new anesthesia machine provides accurate and controlled delivery of anesthetic agents during operations and enhances the overall quality of care in the operating room.
