All patients of the Cebu Provincial Hospital in Bogo City were safely evacuated following the magnitude 5.4 earthquake whose epicenter is located in the city.

“Our hospital team is currently conducting a thorough assessment of the facility to ensure the safety and structural integrity of all areas before resuming normal operations,” the Capitol-run hospital says in a Facebook post.
“We assure the public that patient safety remains our top priority, and all necessary measures are being taken to address the situation promptly and efficiently” it added.

Further updates will be released as soon as they become available, while the public is urged to remain calm and cooperative.
