LOOK: Capitol officials and employees promptly evacuated their offices after an earthquake was felt in Cebu City at around 3:22 p.m. on Monday, April 6.

Employees were able to respond swiftly and in an orderly manner, having undergone a recent earthquake drill as part of the Capitol’s renewed disaster preparedness efforts under Governor Pamela Baricuatro.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported that a magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Bogo City, with tremors felt in various parts of the province, including Cebu City.
