Cebu Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro was among the distinguished women recognized in the 9th edition of The Freeman’s Power Women exhibit, a culminating highlight of the newspaper’s Women’s Month celebration held at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. Organized by The Freeman—the longest-running newspaper in the Visayas—under General Manager Melandro M. Mendoza, in partnership with the Inner Wheel Club of the Philippines District 386 led by Chairperson Sunshine B. Lim, the event honored women who have made significant contributions in government, business, and community service.
Joining Governor Baricuatro in this year’s roster of honorees were Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Ma. Cynthia “Cindi” King-Chan, Aboitiz Power Transition Group COO Rhea Navarro, Primary Group’s Paulette Liu, LDL Group’s Leslie Lim, TopLine Senior Vice President Brigitte Lim, Bigseed owner Georgia Felice “Jaja” Rama, BE Group of Companies COO Nova Noval, AppleOne Group Vice President for Hospitality Samantha Manigsaca, The Island Group Brand Director Andrea Aldeguer, and the Inner Wheel Club District 386. Cebu Provincial Information Office (PIO) Head Ainjeliz de la Torre-Orong received the award on behalf of the governor.
