Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro called on Cebuanos to turn Holy Week into a time for prayer, family bonding, and spiritual renewal.
“Let’s just enjoy the Holy Week—the days off, the time with the family. Maghinulsol ta sa atong mga sala—that includes me. Pasayluon nato ang mga nakasala nato,” the governor said, urging the public to reflect, repent and forgive.
Sharing her personal plans, Gov. Baricuatro said she intends to spend the Holy Week in her hometown in Pinamungajan and visit several churches in Southern Cebu.
“It’s a religious and spiritual practice. Mouli ko sa amoa, muadto didto mag Visita Iglesia, magluto og binignit, make time for simba and make time with the family,” she shared.
Meanwhile, the governor assured the public that despite the ongoing Middle East crisis, Cebu remains stable with enough supply of basic commodities.
“We have sufficient rice and fuel so there’s no need to panic,” she said, reiterating that the provincial government continues to monitor the situation to ensure uninterrupted supply across the province. | 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝑰𝑶
