LOOK: Cebu Gov. Pamela Baricuatro and Chinese officials from Xiamen, China, gathered at the Provincial Capitol on Tuesday for a courtesy call.
The meeting follows the recent resumption of Xiamen Airlines’ direct Cebu–Jinjiang (Quanzhou) flight, which the governor and Chinese officials inaugurated during the maiden flight’s arrival on Sunday.
During the courtesy call, Gov. Baricuatro highlighted Cebu’s tourism potential, saying, “Cebu has so much to offer,” as she promoted destinations in the northern and southern parts of the province.
The visit reflects Cebu Province’s continued efforts to strengthen international ties and boost tourism and economic opportunities.
