𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Xiamen Airlines has officially resumed its direct Cebu–Jinjiang (Quanzhou) connection on Sunday, March 29, reviving a vital air link between Cebu and China’s Fujian Province.
Gov. Pamela Baricuatro and Chinese officials led the inauguration ceremony on Sunday and personally welcomed the visitors aboard the maiden flight from Quanzhou. The governor was joined by several members of the Provincial Board.

The twice-weekly service, operating every Tuesday and Saturday from Mactan–Cebu International Airport to Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport, is seen to fuel tourism, trade, and cultural exchanges, bolstered by the deep historical ties binding Cebu and Fujian.
Just last February, Gov. Baricuatro led a Cebu Provincial Government delegation to Fujian province for high-level talks on the revival of the direct route, aimed at expanding partnerships in healthcare, investment, and economic development.
