Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro joined today’s Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Fun Run program, expressing appreciation for initiatives that bring people together for a meaningful cause.
Addressing participants, Gov. Baricuatro underscored the importance of events like this, especially amid growing global concerns, noting how such gatherings create space for unity, purpose, and hope.
“With so many things going on in the world today that make us worry, I’m grateful for events like this that gather us for a purpose—to run with meaning, and to stand together for unity and national security,” she said.
The governor also highlighted the deeper message behind the activity, emphasizing perseverance, resilience, and the value of simply continuing forward.
She likewise honored members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines for their unwavering service and sacrifice, calling them true heroes who safeguard the country’s peace and security.
