The Cebu Provincial Hospital–Carcar (CPH-Carcar) successfully conducted a C-Arm End User Training for its healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, and radiologic technologists.
The training aimed to further enhance the participants’ knowledge and skills in the proper use of the C-Arm machine, a vital medical imaging equipment used in various surgical and diagnostic procedures.
It highlighted proper machine operation, adherence to radiation safety protocols, and correct maintenance practices to ensure the safety of both patients and healthcare providers.
This initiative is seen to further strengthen the competency of hospital personnel in utilizing advanced medical technology, contributing to more accurate, efficient, and quality healthcare service delivery.
Through continuous capacity-building initiatives, CPH-Carcar reinforces its commitment to providing accessible, safe, and responsive healthcare services to the community, in line with the Cebu Provincial Government’s thrust to improve public health services under the admininistration of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro.
The ongoing reforms at the Capitol-run hospitals are being overseen by Piso Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan.
