The Cebu Provincial Government extended P3 million in financial assistance to the municipality of San Remigio to support its socio-cultural activities in line with the town’s annual fiesta celebration.
Gov. Pamela Baricuatro turned over the check to Mayor Mariano Martinez during a visit at the Capitol recently. Vice Mayor Alfie Corominas-Gonzales also attended the courtesy call.
“Uban sa kinasingkasing nga pagpasalamat, among ipadayag ang among dako ug tinuoray nga pagpasalamat kang Gobernador Pamela Baricuatro sa suporta,” Vice Mayor Corominas-Gonzales said in a Facebook post.
The funding is expected to enhance cultural presentations and community gatherings lined up for the town fiesta.
“Ang inyong padayon ug lig-on nga pagpaningkamot sa pagpreserbar sa atong kultura ug pagpauswag sa atong komunidad usa ka dakong inspirasyon kanamo tanan,” she added.
