𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝟕 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔 𝐓𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐒
Governor Pamela Baricuatro and Capitol Piso Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan welcomed seven newly hired doctors under the Doctors to the Barrios (DTTB) Program of the Department of Health Central Visayas during a courtesy visit to the Capitol on Tuesday, March 10.

The doctors and their assigned local government units (LGUs) are:
Dr. Karljan Paul L. Gayloa – Municipality of Alcoy
Dr. Andrea Esther V. Delector – Municipality of Asturias
Dr. Guillian Joy G. Sayson – Municipality of Boljoon
Dr. Mae Anne Shailyn Pazon – Municipality of Compostela
Dr. Cyrah Gee G. Delos Reyes – Municipality of Daanbantayan
Dr. Ian Josef C. Pretta – Municipality of Samboan
Dr. Juan Carlo C. Flordeliza – Municipality of Sibonga
The initiative supports Governor Baricuatro’s efforts to address the shortage of medical personnel and improve healthcare services across Cebu Province.
The doctors are scheduled to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with their respective LGUs tomorrow, March 11, to formally start their three-year service. They join the 17 doctors rostered in various Rural Health Units in Cebu Province, further strengthening healthcare services across Cebu Province.

“Thank you to the Department of Health for continuing the Doctors to the Barrios program, ensuring that even our rural municipalities have access to medical care,” said Dr. Catalan.
