𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Jail Supt. John Conrad Marcelino Basilio, Provincial Jail Administrator of Cebu, along with at least 26 wardens from various jail facilities in Cebu, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Pamela Baricuatro on Monday, March 9, to discuss efforts to decongest jail facilities and improve detention conditions.
“The state of our hospitals is bad, and even more so in our prisons—it’s really bad. I can only imagine. That is why we are really working and doing our part to improve the facilities. We want to decongest our facilities and look into the judicial system—something that we really have to work on,” Governor Baricuatro said.
