𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Cebu Provincial Government received two container vans carrying 50,000 Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) in a ceremony on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
The ready-to-eat meals, which are self-contained, shelf-stable, high-calorie, individual field rations use in emergency situations where cooking is not possible, is expected to boost Capitol’s disaster preparedness and response efforts by providing immediate food assistance to evacuees, rescue teams and affected communities during calamities. The donated MREs was coursed through the Love Driven Life Foundation Inc. headed by Leslie Lim.
