In the often-unseen corners of Capitol-run hospitals, a team of dedicated personnel work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure an environment conducive to healing.
Dr. Elisse Nicole Catalan, Capitol piso health consultant, took a moment to shine a spotlight on the hardworking non-medical personnel of the province’s four provincial and 14 district hospitals.

As captured in the photos below, these quiet heroes faithfully carry out their respective assignments, helping maintain orderly, efficient, and spotless facilities that support the life-saving work happening around them.
Dr. Catalan expressed deep gratitude for all non-medical health workers who sustain the day-to-day operations of the province’s medical facilities.

Among them are utility workers, security guards, kitchen staff, maintenance personnel, ambulance drivers, and many others whose roles often go unnoticed but are vital to patient care.
According to Dr. Catalan, these non-medical staff members play a major role in keeping the hospitals running smoothly. She pointed out that their behind-the-scenes contributions are an essential part of delivering safe and quality service to patients.
“While they may not always be seen working up front, their contribution is invaluable. A clean and organized environment not only helps prevent infection but also provides comfort to patients, visitors, and healthcare workers alike,” Dr. Catalan said.
