Cebu Provincial Government department heads and their representatives gathered on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) for a system onboarding and consultation meant to improve the infrastructure project monitoring process flow at the Capitol.
They were asked as to whether or not they agree to the flow and provided recommendations on how the existing process could be revamped for a more seamless implementation.
It is expected that once observed at Capitol, via a dashboard to be created by the Information and Communications Technology Office, the new system would improve transparency and track progress, especially during the approval process.
“This is part of Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro’s thrust in streamlining public services by making transparency and accountability part of the institutional process,” said Elizar Sabinay Jr. of PPDO.
The participants were asked to identify the maximum number of days the documents need to be checked in their respective offices before they (documents) proceed to the next stage of the process.
They also identified possible instances of delay so that appropriate measures could be taken or that proper mitigation efforts could be applied.
Another round of consultation would follow this afternoon’s activity to further refine the process flow before the official launch by the end of March 2026. /𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶, 𝑷𝑷𝑫𝑶
