Singer and actress Zsa Zsa Padilla joined the flag-raising ceremony at the Capitol Grounds this morning, February 16.
Governor Pamela Baricuatro acknowledged Padilla’s presence, noting that this marked her third visit to the Capitol—each time bringing assistance for calamity victims.
Padilla first came to Cebu in October last year to donate goods to victims of the magnitude 6.9 earthquake while she was in the province shooting a television series in which she portrayed a governor. She later returned to provide additional cash assistance for the quake victims.
During her most recent visit, Padilla once again extended support by donating cash to families affected by the Binaliw sanitary landfill collapse.
“Miss Zsa Zsa, from the bottom of our hearts, the Province of Cebu would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity. Sana lahat ng artists gaya mo,” Governor Baricuatro said. | CAPITOL PIO
