𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Cebu Provincial Government, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), personally delivered the ₱100,000 financial assistance to two centenarians at their respective homes on February 4, 2026, in recognition of their remarkable longevity and life contributions.
The distribution was conducted in coordination with the offices of 5th District Provincial Board (PB) Members Red Duterte and Mike Villamor, together with 3rd District PB Members Lorenz Lagon and Julius Corominas.
The first recipient was Julita P. Sugarol of Brgy. Tabunok, Sogod, Cebu, was born on February 28, 1924. A mother of three, Sugarol shared that her secret to long life is eating vegetables and fish. The other recipient is Eulogio Ombrog of Brgy. Media Once, Toledo City, was born on January 1, 1926. Like Sugarol, the father of three attributes his longevity to a diet rich in vegetables and fish.
