𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Following the Sectoral Committee meeting and election yesterday, February 9, 2026, the Provincial Planning and Development Office has announced the chairpersons and co-chairpersons of the five sectoral groups under the Provincial Development Council. They are:
Sectoral Chairperson (Civil Society Organizations’ Representatives)
• Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) – Environment Sector
• First Consolidated Cooperative along Tañon Seaboards – Institutional or Development Administration Sector
• Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative – Economic Sector
• Minglanilla Water and Sanitation Service Cooperative (MIWASSCO) – Infrastructure Sector
• St. John Bosco Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SJBMPC) – Social Sector
For the co-chairpersons, who should come from the government sector, they are:
Sectoral Co-Chairperson (Local Government Unit Mayors)
• Hon. Gilbert F. Magallon (Alegria) – Institutional Sector
• Hon. Gilbert M. Arrabis, Jr. (Daanbantayan) – Social Sector
• Hon. Efren Guntrano Z. Gica (Dumanjug) – Infrastructure Sector
• Hon. Mario Patricio P. Barcenas (City of Carcar) – Economic Sector
• Hon. Christian Daniel B. Diamante (Tuburan) – Environmental Sector
Provincial Administrator Atty. Joseph Felix Mari “Ace” H. Durano administered the oath of office of the elected officers.
