Zumba session at the Capitol resumes

The zumba session for Capitol employees was re-launched last Friday, April 11 at the Capitol grounds. The one-hour activity will now be held at 4 – 5p.m. every Friday.

Around 40 male and female employees participated in the activity. They sweated it out while the undecided watched at the building’s balcony and front entrance.

The Next session will be on Apr. 25 since the following Friday happens to be Good Friday.

Gov. Hilario “Junjun” Davide III himself broached the idea of reviving the wellness
activity, according to Asst. Prov’l. Administrator Ramil Abing. Health happens to be one of the items in the governor’s six-point agenda. The governor’s wife, Jobel Angan-Davide, showed the way at the relaunching.

The wellness activity started during the term of then Acting Governor Agnes Magpale and was initiated by the Provincial Information Office.

Abing scouted for zumba instructors from freelance practitioners in Lapulapu City. He added that preparations for a sports festival are now on its finali stages. Culmination of the sports festival is scheduled in August in time with the province’ 455th Founding Anniversary celebration. Rodz Serna
