To ensure that day care children get excellent nutrition in their growing up years, the Province of Cebu through the Provincial Social Welfare & Development Office continues its supplemental feeding program by distributing milk packs to the municipalities and cities.
For July, a total of 133,010 packs of milk will be distributed to 32 local government units benefitting a total of 4,034 day care children. On July 20, 7,280 packs will be given to 182 kids in Talisay City and 2,600 packs for 65 kids in Minglanilla.
On July 21, distribution will be in Naga City (7,000 packs/212 kids) and San Fernando (7,000/175). On July 22, distribution will be in Carcar City (5,340/178), Sibonga (2,070/69), Argao (3,420/114) and Dalaguete (5,160/172).
On July 23, distribution will be in Barili ( 4,440 packs/148 kids), Dumanjug (4,530/151), Ronda (1,620/54), Alcantara (1,050/35), Moalboal (1,830/61) and Badian (2,580/86).
On July 24, the team will distribute the dairy products in Liloan (8,200 packs for 205 kids) and Compostela (5,000/125).
On the 27th, 235 Danao City kids will receive a total of 9,400 packs and 208 Carmen kids will have a total of 6,240 packs.
On the 28th, distribution will be in Catmon (1,410/47), Sogod (3,240/108), Tabogon (2,580/86) and Borbon (1,410/47). On the 29th, distribution will be in Bogo City (3,240 packs for 108 kids), San Remigio (2,490/83), Medellin (3,180/106) and Daanbantayan (3,330/111).
On July 30, distribution will be in Tabuelan (810 packs for 27 kids), Tuburan (5,550/185), Asturias (3,210/107) and Balamban (6,330/211). Finally, on the 31st, distribution will be in Consolacion (6,690/223) and Cordova (3,300/110).
After the school break, the supplemental feeding program resumed on June 9 with a total of 150,575 packs given away to 4,835 children in 43 LGUs.
